The body of a 20 year old Chinese girl has been found in the River Thames, who was last seen alive leaving the Ministry of Sound last weekend.

Shi Tang, known as "Yumi", was discovered on the south side of the river last Sunday morning (February 2002) after living Ministry alone. According to the Standard, Miss Tang had been inside the club with a group of 15 friends celebrating her boyfriend's birthday but had become separated from them as she left the club at 6am. She was then seen on CCTV cameras walking alone towards the river up Borough High Street. When police examined her body, they found no money on her and her mobile phone and jacket were also missing.

"We do not know if it was murder, suicide or an accident and we are desperate for people who may have seen Shi to contact police," investigating officer DC Thomas told the Standard.

"We need to know why she walked away from the club, so purposefully in the first place." Police are asking anyone with information to call City Of London Police on 0207 601 2736
