Massive Attack Star Jailed For Assault

Former Massive Attack rapper Claude Williams was jailed this week after being convicted of wounding (assault). The former Wild Bunch member, who played with the band between 1991 and 1998 was sentenced to 18 months in jail, after pleading guilty to beating former pal John Hamer after rowing over a £20 debt.

According to the BBC, he "lost the plot" after leaving the band, ending up in a bail hostel (halfway house) where the attack took place.
