London disco/ house promoters Whistlebump have scored an impressive coup in booking Daddy G to DJ at their London Christmas party, which takes place at the End on December 14.

The Massive Attack mainman will be joined by Bugz in the Attic in room 2 while New York veteran Danny Krivit (Body & Soul) headlines Room 1, backed by Whistlebump promoter Simon Haggis.

In more Massive news, Robert '3D' Del Nara has reportedly recorded much of the band's long awaited new album alone (NME) though has continued the band's habit of recruiting guest singers. While Sinead O Connor looks like a sensible choice to fill the shoes of Liz Fraser, Tracey Thorne and Shara Nelson, Del Nara's taste sense appears to have finally deserted him, judging by the inclusion of Blur frontman Damon Albarn.
