Bez from the Happy Mondays, Bernard Summer and Ex Stone Roses bass player Mani are amongst seven Manchester musical legends who'll be DJing at Happy Mondayz, a new weekly club taking place each Monday at Birmingham superclub Code.

Bez and Clint Boon from Inspiral Carpets will be kick starting proceedings on the opening night (30th September) with at least two Mancucians popping down the M6 to the Godskitchen venue on subsequent weeks.

The rest of the magnificient seven are Craig Gill (Inspiral Carpets), MC Tunes (808 State) and Andy Rourke from Badly Drawn Boy who first made his name as the bass player with the Smiths. Tickets cost just £4 for what looks like being a highly entertaining and undoubtedly alcohol dominated weekly event.
