MTV2 Presents "Increase the Beat Weekend" - DanceStar USA Awards

New York, NY - May 20, 2002 - MTV2 today announced that on Memorial Day weekend from May 25-26, the cable net will air nothing but music videos with steadily increasing beats per minute. MTV2 will provide the soundtrack to every music fans' weekend with a mix of dance, electronica, hip-hop and rock videos - the only rule is that the beat must increase with each track. Superstar DJ Paul Oakenfold will host the weekend that will feature videos from a diverse mix of artists from Fatboy Slim to OutKast to the Beastie Boys to Jay-Z. The whole weekend kicks off on May 25th at 6am ET
