London's Gay Pride Cancel the Millennium Dome

Gay Pride organisers have pulled out of hiring London's Millennium Dome for their annual July party, alleging that the owner of the group redeveloping it, Philip Anschutzer of the Anschutz Entertainment Group is homophobic.

A spokesman from the American group refused to comment beyond telling the Standard "I would not dignify with a response any suggestion that the company has a policy against homosexuals." Pride will now take place at Brixton's Brockwell Park on July 6th, the same location as London's now annual Cannabis Festival.
