London's Boxing Day Goes Techno

Carl Cox spins a 7 hour set at Turnmills this Boxing Day (December 26) while Mark Broom and Ben Sims will be DJing at Marco Carola's System (Propaganda) on a night that's traditionally one of the best of the year.

Jeff Mills also performs a rare London show at Fabric two days later (Saturday 28) followed by Laurent Garnier at The End on New Years Eve, providing London clubbers with a rare smorgasbord of superstar techno talent.

Perhaps wisely, techno stalwarts LOST have conceded defeat well in advance and instead will be embracing a radically different music policy at their Friday night post Boxing Day bash (December 27), promising 'disco-boogie, house, 79s funk and heavy hip hop beats'.

Tickets cost just £5 for the LOST party should be worth it just to hear what Steve Bicknell actually plays. "The purpose is to party", they stress on their flyers.
