So many British office workers get blind drunk at Christmas and fall asleep on trains that First Great Eastern trains are distributing 50,000 badges that say 'Wake me up at…."

The train company, who operate out of Liverpool Street station, are also giving away pens to make sure comatose Christmas party revellers can fill in their stop before slumping into unconsciousness on last trains.

"We have had some pretty dramatic 'over-carries' and it isn't fun to leave your office party and then find yourself miles from home," said First Great Eastern press spokesperson Jill Casswell.

"It's not unheard of for passengers to be found in trains when they reach the sidings." (Daily Star)
