Liverpool's highly rated underground/ techno club Voodoo have commissioned former Sex Pistols graphic artist Jamie Reid to design special Golden Jubilee club artwork, to help commemorate the Queen's 50th year on the throne of England. Reid was the man who famously put a safety pin through Queen Elizabeth's cheek (graphically) at the height of the Pistol's notoriety in 1977, during the 25 year Silver Jubilee festivities.

"Jamie has replaced the Queen's ugly mug with the Voodoo skull and changed the slogans," the club proudly announced this week.

Ade Fenton headlines Voodoo this Friday (January 18) and Andy Weatherall the following week (Friday January 25th).
