'At First Sight' is the new artist album from techno superstar Jeff Mills.

The album is 13 tracks of visionary techno & sci-fi drama in pure Mills-style. His fans will know 'At First Sight' is his first full artist album for sometime. As each piece of music to come from his studio is sought after & carefully collected, 13 tracks of brand new material is bound to cause a stir. In his own words, "'At First Sight' is an indispensable map.

It is a collection and/or trail of Sci-Fi works that I have been wishing to release for many years." Never one for trivial forms of expression (that's not to say his dj sets don't rock!), Jeff's current work was inspired and influenced by Time, the Twilight Zone, Harmonic, Dreaming, expanding Black Matter in our Universe, the 'What If' series by Marvel Comics, Black Holes & M87, and creating music through forcing the hands to act as tools.

Jeff's most recent visit to London was for the UK debut of 'Metropolis'. Inspired by Fritz Lang's silent film "Metropolis" (1926), Mills recorded his own soundtrack for the hugely influential classic film. The music - a
grandiose transmission of traditional orchestral interpretation and electronic soundtrack(s) - matched Lang's master-vision of the Utopian Dream narrative; passionate and timeless. The screening at London's Royal Festival Hall in May 2002 was sold out, and the reception rapturous. it has
shown all over the world at more than 50 locations with future showings including the Vienna film festival in August 2002 and daily showings at the Museum of Music in Paris from November 2002 for one year.

Upcoming projects:
