Holland's Greatest Cheesemeister Goes Punk

Ferry Corsten, the man who as Gouryella, System F and a whole host of other names, has been most responsible for popularising ultra-commercial Dutch trance, is releasing a new single under his own name. The new track Punk retains his trademark accessible chord sounds, ditching his old style beat for a surprisingly contemporary electro groove.

Whether he'll inspire his fellow Dutch producers also jump ship from the much maligned trance scene, remains to be seen.

Punk is out on Positiva/ EMI shortly.
