Greedy Brits on 2 week vacations typically gain a stone (6kgs) in weight, according to a shock new survey published by ICM. According to the poll, fatty foreign foods and excess alcohol are to blame, with roly-poly Brits gaining an average of 4.3 pounds (2kgs) in their first week alone.

The survey also revealed that 1 in 3 couples "argue regularly" during their breaks, presumably over whether they should have another jug of sangria or an ice cream.
