Halloween Director John Carpenter's Greatest Tune Re-Emerges

John Carpenter's eerie electronic masterpiece The End, taken from 70s' cult film Assault On Precinct 13, features on a fantastic new compilation Serie Noire, coming out on Eskimo Recordings in December.

Subtitled Dark Pop + New Beat, the Belgium label's latest compilation is a superb selection of nourish, filthy electro disco culled predominantly from the 80s and includes several more Balearic classics like Alan Parsons Project's Adventures In Success and My Mine's Hypnotic Tango from 1984.

Startlingly contemporary, Serie Noire will appeal to all electronic disco fans and is a serious contender for compilation of the year.
