UK's original live techno outfit, Eat Static, will smash sound barriers when they touch down this December for their first Australian tour, coinciding with the launch of the third annual Global Eyes 2003 electronic music publication that celebrates the art of electronic music. Eat Static will indulge Australian audiences with their renowned live sets; a twisted mix of sci-fi soundscapes, tweaking acid lines, bent breaks and psychedelic riffs that have entranced underground dance lovers since 1990. Hot on the heels of last year's album 'In the Nude', Eat Static's next oevre will be launched in Australia in conjunction with the Global Eyes tour. Playing live at the Outback Eclipse Festival in South Australia (02-06 December), and then Perth (07 December), they'll hit Melbourne on Friday 13 before cruising Sydney Harbour on a triple-decker boat on the 14 December.
