Glastonbury's new ultra-tight security delivered a "100% successful" event this year, despite introducing a "sea change" in the type of revellers, festival chief Michael Eavis told trade magazine Music Week, this week.

"We're attracting a more respectable audience and I think that was noticeable at this year's event," said Eavis. "The amount of 17 and 18 year old students was grossly reduced. I wish we could avoid (that) but you can't have the nice kids without the bad kids."
