"To be a native New Yorker and have a business located just over half a mile away north of where the Twin Towers once stood is a daily reminder of how precious life can be," he writes. "I love New York and I will never stray from the City That Never Sleeps, to be frank, it's up to you, New York, York."
The album is a seamlessly mixed collection of 19 house and techno based new tracks from one of the city's best-known techno producers (he owns Manhattan vinyl emporium Groove Records on Carmine Street, Little Italy). The title refers to the true-life tale of Melissa Montefore, who survived the towers' collapse, despite being on a subway train running underneath.
"To the many friends and families who have lost loved ones:
My deepest sympathy goes out to you all in this difficult time. I too, lost my Father when he was on the job in New York City. Though he departed in 1985 I can feel your pain and I am truly sorry," says Frankie. "Let the Lord have mercy on their souls."
The Thin Line Between Fantasy And Reality is out on June 3, on Pro-jex Records
