Fatboy Slim Fatality Declared Accidental

An inquest into the death of Karen Manders, who suffered head injuries after falling from a wall hours after Fatboy Slim's Brighton party, reached a verdict of accidental death ,this week.

Pathologists discovered the 26 year old Australian nurse had consumed ecstasy (MDMA) and large quantities alcohol before falling 20 feet (6 metres) to the ground and concluded she'd lost her balance.

"It is likely that she would have been disorientated, in terms of not knowing who she was or where she was," pathologist Dr Neera Patel told the court.

"It could have made her agitated. In my opinion, this level of MDMA together with the alcohol would have affected her behaviour." (NME)
