Falaraki's Delinquent Toff : I Am Not A Hooligan

One of the British tourists convicted of baring his bottom ("mooning") in Greece's increasingly notorious sex and booze resort Falaraki suggested this week that Greek authorities are over-reacting.

"I am not a lout but a public-school educated university student," said Simon Topp (in a letter to the Daily Telegraph).

"The incident that caused the trouble occurred when another group of Britons drove past us in a coach and in the time honoured (at university and Falaraki) manner of greeting, we 'mooned' them."

The 20 year old Briton was sentenced to 30 days in jail or a £400 fine and complained that cops threw him in a cockroach infested cell and called him 'English scum'. 13 other British holidaymakers were arrested for mooning, drug offences and fighting with police, in what appears to be a concerted and ongoing crackdown against disorder.

According to the Telegraph, Falaraki is siphoning off hooligan Brits from Ibiza and Ayia Napa, a view shared by Judge Jules, one of the biggest club promoters in Ibiza.

"One area that is down on the island as a whole this season is the people who watched Ibiza Uncovered in previous years who recently saw Club Reps about Falaraki," Jules told Skrufff this week.

"Basically, the hooligan types who want a cheap shag have all gone to Falaraki."
