Encore Un Fois- Daft Punk Say "Non"

Daft Punk have slammed French politicians for using their song One More Time after refusing permission to both main parties to try to capitalise on their popularity with young voters.

"We replied by fax, telling everybody we will not accept that they use our track," band manager Pedro Winter told the BBC. "Now, if they break the law, I can say that our next president is a breaker of the law."

Daft Punk's refusal followed fierce criticism they attracted last year after appearing in TV adverts for The Gap.
