UK's original live techno outfit Eat Static will smash sound barriers when they touch down this December for their first Australian tour.

Eat Static will indulge Australian audiences with their renowned live sets; a twisted mix of sci-fi soundscapes, tweaking acid lines, bent breaks and psychedelic riffs which has entranced underground dance lovers since 1990. With their roots in kitsch b-grade sci-fi alien sounds and over a decade-long career as one of the UK‚s premier live dance acts it's no surprise Eat Static hails from pioneering psychedelic outfit Ozric Tentacles.

With 8 studio albums to their name, plus a decade of remixes under their belt from the likes of Charlie Watts, Dave Angel and The Infinity Project, they've also enjoyed collaborations with Will (Propellerhead), White and Steve (Tangerine Dream), Jolliffe. Eat Static are well known and are highly credited to hold and stand their ground having played alongside the likes of Carl Cox, Grooverider, Paul Hartnoll (Orbital), Lol Hammond (Drum Club), Barry Ashworth (Dub Pistols), as well as headlining major European festivals including Glastonbury, Dance Valley (Amsterdam) and Phoenix (UK).

Playing the Global Eyes tour this year at the Outback Eclipse Festival in South Australia on 02-06 DEC, Hobart at the Derwent Entertainment Centre 07th Dec, Melbourne at the Hi Fi Bar on 13th Dec before cruising the Sydney Harbour on a triple-decker boat on the 14th Dec.
