It's official - the King is back. Elvis Presley has debuted at No. 1 on the UK singles chart 25 years after his death, with the remix of his song 'A Little Less Conversation'. This is Elvis' 18th No. 1 hit in the UK, which officially breaks the long running tie he has held with The Beatles for the most No. 1 songs. Now Elvis will be back in the Guiness Book of Records as the artist with the most number ones.

Elvis vs JXL faced stiff competition for the UK No. 1 position, battling it out with 3 other new entries in the top 4, including the new single from Kylie Minogue, to triumph at No. 1.

In Australia, 'A Little Less Conversation' is poised to achieve the same success, becoming the No. 1 Most Added song at Australian radio last week.

'A Little Less Conversation' was originally released in 1968, and has been remixed by Dutch DJ and producer JXL. The song originally appeared in one of Elvis' 1960's movies "Live A Little, Love A Lot", and was released as the B-side to his 1968 single 'Almost In Love'.

The new version with JXL has been picked up Nike in their massive advertising campaign for the soccer World Cup, making the track instantly familiar in homes worldwide, and introducing Elvis to an entirely new audience.

Elvis is likely to return to the top of the charts later this year, with the release of the highly anticipated 30 No. 1 Hits, which is released 23rd September 2002.

Elvis vs JXL 'A Little Less Conversation' is released in Australia TODAY 17th June on RCA Records through BMG Australia.
