Dino Lenny Sparks Housemartin Challenge

Housemartin singer Paul Heaton is dipping his toes in the dance music genre, some 15 years after his erstwhile colleague Norman Cook jumped ship to (eventually) become Fatboy Slim. The angelic sounding singer (who nowadays fronts the Beautiful South) is reportedly set to re-vocal a segment from the Housemartin's mid 80s track Flag The day, which has been sampled by house veteran Dino Lenny on his new track Change The World.

The piano based house tune has already gained support from the likes of Pete Tong and looks well set for crossover success.

"When I first told my friends of the idea, they took the piss," Lenny revealed this week. "But it's worked as well I wanted it to, and now the track seems to have a life of its own. I know Norman Cook was after one."
