Disgraced former Prime Minister John Major has been linked with Kylie Minogue following this week's revelations that he maintained a secret four year affair with fellow Conservative politician Edwina Currie.

The sleazy Tory, previously best known for promoting a family values 'Back to Basics' philosophy, has also been sexually linked with his erstwhile boss Margaret Thatcher by bookmakers taking bets on "other famous women Major may have bedded" (Mirror). And while betting on Thatcher offers odds of 50-1, Kylie fanciers will get 500-1 if a relationship is proved.
