Belfast electronica producer David Holmes has assembled an 11 piece live band for his upcoming live tour, which he's promising is going to be as energetic as the shows of Outkast and funk legends Parliament.

"It's going to be full-on punk rock attitude. Properly kicking off," said Holmes.

"There'll be a lot of samples and craziness going on. I'll be spinning records live, dubbing it out with echo boxes and delays."

The band will be performing under the name The Free Association and will include US rapper Sean Reveron, British vocalist Petra Jean Phillipson and long term Holmes collaborator Steve Hilton (currently wrapping up the new James Bond soundtrack).

"The whole point of the show is that it's got to be something to look at," Holmes added.
