Dave Seaman launches a multinational themed season of events in Ibiza on Monday (July 8) opening up his new weekly 4/4. Taking place at El Divinos (Ibiza Town's decidedly dressy upscale venue) his night will be featuring guest DJs from different countries each week starting with Tom Middleton and James Holden representing England this week. The launch is a milestone for the veteran British DJ, who before he took up spinning was Mix Mag's very first editor.

"We all expected dance music would have had a little more longevity than punk, perhaps five or six years," Seaman told Skrufff recently.

In fact, it's been one of the UK's best exports for the last 30 years, compared to mods, rockers, punks, new romantics and even hooligans."

His night will be going head to head with Ibiza's biggest event Manumission.
