Cocaine, Lesbians and Deviant Sex

Cocaine use leads to lesbianism and deviant sex, according to tabloid doctor Hilary Jones.

"Like alcohol, it releases a lot of people's inhibitions, so they may become more sexually aggressive," Doctor Jones told the News of the World this week.

"When cocaine was used as a recreational drug in Victorian times it was well known to make men more heterosexual and women more homosexual," he claimed.

Leading journalist Miranda Sawyer (whose coincidentally just compiled one of the CDs in New Order's upcoming box set) also published an anti-coke piece in last week's Mirror angled around the glut of British TV presenters linked to the drug.

"The scandals are different - death, hookers, rough sex- but it's cocaine that tells each tale," she suggested.

Danny Rampling, meanwhile, maintained his own crusade against the drug, telling DJ magazine his hope for the new year is to see "the end of cocaine use- it's destroying the club scene, frankly."
