Maidstone's Club Class and DJ Tomislav successfully completed their five date tour of Bosnia this week, with assistance provided by local armed forces.

"The Army looked after us every step of the way, from providing plain-clothes cover at the gigs to transporting all the sound equipment around the country," said British organiser Tom Wilson North.

"We gave people five nights off from their lives and had Serbs, Croats and Muslims dancing in the same club. That would have been unheard of five years ago."

The parties also raised £3,000 for local Bosnian charities and included one event in Bugojno, a Muslim town heavily bombarded by Serbs during the war.

"There's us at the club with Tomislav headlining- who's a Serb. It was a real test of whether attitudes had changed since the war. And, thank heavens, we had people from all ethnic backgrounds having it right off in the club," Tom added.
