Belgium compilation series Eskimo have teamed up with leading champagne producers Piper Heidsieck for their next compilation, and have adopted the wine company's labels for the upcoming CD's artwork. The champagne company are the latest of many luxury brands to embrace the dance compilation market over the last 12 months, following in the footsteps of London's Momo restaurant and Parisian residence Hotel Costes.

"Elegant packaging makes them desirable objects to own," the Standard suggested this week. "The formula is armchair clubbing with an added tang of the international jet set. The compilations are astutely marketed as lifestyle accessories."

Packaging aside, Eskimo's latest collection is extremely interesting and listenable collection, mixing Frankie Knuckles' definitive house anthem Your Love alongside unusual and interesting disco classics including Italian anthem Stop Bajon (Primavera) by Tulio de Piscopo, and tunes from the B52s and Barry White. Eskimo Volume 3 is out mid January.
