America's Attack On Raves Boosts Clubs Says Top US Jock

Sunday, September 29, 2002US authorities' escalating pressure on dance festivals has boosted America's club scene, according to top local DJ Christopher Lawrence.
"People are now going to clubs more so the club scene has become really big; It's similar to what happened in Europe and England," Lawrence told Cristian Cambronero, from Costa Rican site urbanistmo.com.
"Ecstasy really isn't a problem in the States but, they're making it into one, and they're targeting raves because is a new form of music and there's nobody really to defend them," he added.
The superstar hard dance jock was in Costa Rica to spin at the Bash Club in San Jose where he performed to over a thousand local clubbers.
