411 Drug Busts At Grateful Dead Concert

Milwaukee cops busted 411 people for drugs offences at last weekend's Grateful Dead reunion concert at the Alpine Valley Music Theatre, which could have serious implications for the band's future, if authorities pass the RAVE act.

Under the terms of the act, any advanced knowledge of potential drug use at an event would make promoters and property owners liable to crack house laws, and with so many busts at one gig, it seems anyone touching the band in the future could be at risk. Cops seized mushrooms, liquid acid, LSD, heroin, cocaine and marijuana at the event, though no ecstasy.
