Alan Thompson has quit his residency at Trade after 9 years DJing at London's most influential gay club. "I had been with Trade since nearly the beginning and have been part of their huge success worldwide," he said after playing his last set last weekend (22nd July). "I have enjoyed all the years I played at Trade and have fond memories of some fantastic nights there both as a DJ and a clubber. I wish the Trade collective all the best and good luck for the future".

Previous Trade residents include Tony De Vit, Tall Paul and Fergie and bouncy house specialist Thompson is already reportedly in negotiations with several other UK clubs. He's also released tracks for hard house champions Nukleuz and Tripoli Trax and sets off to Australia for a DJ tour in the near future.
