Leeds's new outdoor arena Millennium Square is to host a 12 hour party on Sunday 19th August featuring hard house DJs including Lisa Lashes, The Tidy Boys and Andy Farley. Loads more hard house jocks will be performing at the 7,000 capacity state-of-the-art venue that was officially opened in April by Nelson Mandela.

"There's no doubt this will be the maddest dance event of the year; produced by real clubbers for real clubbers," Sundissential's Danny Kirk promised this week. "Other clubs simply stick their name on a festival and get someone else to do the legwork. We're doing everything for Tidyssential because we understand what real clubbers want. That's why we're the Peoples' Champion. "Tidyssential" will be the first and only pure hard house festival."

Unusually for an event catering to so many people, the lineup will be entirely hard house with just one 24k sound system providing music for the one main arena.

The Tidy Boys (aka Andy Pickles and Amadeus Mozart), meanwhile, release their latest hard house compilation shortly called "The Annual". Rachel Auburn, Ingo, Nick Sentience and Billy Bunter all provide tracks for the double CD collection that's released on Tidy Trax on June 11th.
