22 year old Darren Weir from So Solid Crew pleaded guilty to charges of GBH (Grievous Bodily Harm) this week, relating to an incident in Cardiff, during which he punched a girl he'd invited back to his hotel room. According to the Sun, Weir punched the unnamed blonde so hard that her jaw fractured into two pieces, requiring three metal plates to repair the damage. The singer admitted the charge in Cardiff Crown Court and will be sentenced later (a significant prison term usually accompanies GBH convictions).

In better news for the South London posse, the 30 strong collective this week announced details of a UK wide tour this December to support the release of their debut album They Don't Know (out on November 19th). They recently topped the UK pop charts with 21 Seconds, becoming virtually the only credible act to do so all year.

11 Civic Hall, Wolverhampton
