Following the success of Infected Mushroom at the last Bliss party, Earthcore is presenting Germany's S.U.N. Project playing live at Bliss 2, Friday 7th December at QBH in South Melbourne.

A truly unique act due to the use of traditional instruments in their live performances, the group started out when three Hamburg-based heavy metal musicians, Marco (bass), McCoy (drums) and Matthias (guitar), decided to spend their holidays in Goa, India. Previously unaware of the whole psychedelic trance phenomenon, they soon found themselves producing rocking psychedelic trance tracks.

Going on to release material on the Spirit Zone, Spiral Trax and Nova Tekk labels, S.U.N. Project's performances have been labelled "rock trance shows" due to the combination of psychedelic trance and live instrumentation utilised on stage, including electric guitars, drums, keyboards and synthesisers. The result is an energetic and very powerful stage show.

S.U.N. Project have played around the globe including most of Europe, Brazil, Japan, Australia and Israel, at times performing in front of more than 25,000 people.

Playing on their "We Will Rock You" Australian tour, S.U.N. Project will be playing a two hour live performance at Bliss 2, joined on the bill by DJ's Ozzy, Nirav, Alias, Billy The Kid and other special guests to be announced. As well, there'll be full-blown retro rock "Kiss-style" concert installations, Mini Martian Death Rays galore and Super-Intelligent lighting rigs.

The place will be rocking trance-style from 9.30pm with limited advance discount tickets available for $45 at www.earthcore.com.au. Otherwise, get them for $55 plus booking fee from Strange Days (Windsor), Ministry of Style (Fitzroy), Geometrix (Fitzroy), Alley Tunes (Hawthorn), 188D (St Kilda), Inacoma (Ringwood), Eye Spy (Frankston) or Central Station (City).
