New Zealand Classifies Eminem As Adult Entertainment

New Zealand authorities have introduced draconian regulations banning the sale of Eminem product to anybody under 18, with retailers who evade the ban facing fines of up to NZ$10,000 and prison time. "The danger exists that vulnerable and impressionable young people will take on board the misogyny and homophobia, the casual attitude to drug use and the aggressively violent stance of the album," chief censor Bill Hastings told local site www.sohh.com.


Eminem, meanwhile, has launched his own internet cartoon series, the Slim Shady Show, which he's posted on his site at slimshadyworld.com. The cartoon, as Jockey Slut put it, is "decidedly adult orientated."
