MTV's Ibiza Pullout is 'Not Worrisome', Local Councillors Retort

Ibiza tourist chiefs this week responded to MTV's announcement that they won't be returning to the island next year, with an impressively indifferent statement, published on Ibiza Online. Declaring that Ibiza already has more than enough entertainment options, they added that 'under the present circumstances, the promoter's decision to move is not worrisome to local government.' In fact, Spain's tourist market has already partially collapsed since September 11th, the Daily Telegraph reported this week, with hotel and flight bookings falling by 30% (year on year).http://www.ibiza-online.com
