Japan's High Quality Garbage

Skrufff's new man-in-Japan Andrez Bergen discovered this week that Toyko's streets are almost literally paved with gold after he set off on an expedition to explore the city's dumpsters. 'Yesterday was recycling day in my neighbourhood, and you know what I found tossed in with all the other garbage- A Yamaha SHS-200 keyboard,' said Andrez. 'Not that I was rifling through other people's garbage.'

Andrez, who's better known as electronic experimentalist Little Nobody, also sees the release of his new album Reaction Hero in Australia next week, a remixed version of his acclaimed recent long player Action Hero. Tobias Schmidt, Si Beggs (aka Cabbageboy aka Buckfunk 3000) and Sydney's Pnau are amongst the 32 remixers presented on the new record.

Action Hero is also a contender for this year's Australian Dance Music Awards Album Of The Year. Reaction Hero is out on Shock Records on Monday 27th August (Australia)
