British duo Paul Martin and his production partner Tyrell are set to release their second album Take That Train, on upcoming San Francisco label Ubiquity, shortly, 2 years since they parted company with Pete Tong's FFRR (part of AOL/Warners). The new record, which varies from pure dub to delirious Latino style breakbeat, is a largely instrumental dub heavy album, characterised by its flute solos, heavy percussion effects and general mishmash of styles and sounds. Unusually, the duo first met on the London Tube after Paul spotted Tyrell clutching a newly purchased Sly & The Family Stone Record and struck up a conversation ( a move usually limited to tourists and crazies).
