Fokus welcomes RSK and DJ G-FORCE

After a massive opening last Friday night, Fokus is proud to present its first guest DJ, RSK. RSK will be the first in a long line of awesome tekno DJs who will be presented by Fokus over coming months.

RSK is the man behind SPRMINT Recordings, the label that has presented the production wizardry of such artists as Steve Robbins and David Carbone, and the Manager of Hardware Records and Frame, a new label in conjunction with European superstar Corrado Izzo.

RSK has a killer crate of intelligent tekno that he is ready to unleash upon the punters in a prime-time slot between 2-4am this Friday, June 8. This is an opportunity to start the Queen's Birthday Weekend celebrations early with some serious dancefloor tekno action.

As usual, our weekly guest will be supported by the Fokus residents, Simon Coyle, Disko Pussy, Ben Cromack and Mike Callander, who all had so much fun at the club's opening night last week that they are ready to do it all again.

With a capacity of only 300 people, Fokus presents the slickest tekno and most jackin' beats within an intimate club environment. The punters will be treated to the most innovative, intelligent tekno around, presented by some of the most creative DJs that Melbourne tekno has to offer.

We are beside ourselves with excitement about the guests we have lined up for Fokus. Starting with DJ RSK, we hope you can come down every Friday for a few drinks and kick it with us amidst the phat bass and crystal clear high-end sounds of Sub Club's slammin' sound set-up, and an awesome arrangement of lasers and lights.

Next week, on June 15, Fokus will proudly present DJ G-Force all the way from Belgium. DJ G-Force (Stanny Franssen) will treat an intimate audience of only 300 tekno enthusiasts to a two-hour set of funky, infectious dancefloor tekno across three decks. G-Force will be supported by Fokus residents Simon Coyle, Ben Cromack and Mike Callander, and special guest Simon Digby. Tickets are $23 (incl. GST) + booking fee, available from Hardware Records, Chatham St, Prahran.

Fokus runs from 11pm-7am every Friday night at Sub Club, 199 Commercial Road, South Yarra. Entry is $8 regular / $5 guest list, more for special events.
