Danny Tenaglia has cancelled his planned UK and Ibiza dates, this week, and suggested he's unlikely to leave the US in the near future, even if air travel returns to normal. The New York tribal house jock is one of the world's most popular DJs and his decision to stop travelling sets an ominous precedent.

"I would be lying if I said I wasn't concerned about being in an airplane at this time (who wouldn't-),' said Danny in a statement released by Manchester club Sankeys Soap (where he'd been due to DJ this Friday 21st .) "Also, I am still not feeling much up to playing music and being at parties as the entire world is in mourning. I also would NOT want to be stuck in another country, not being able to get back to New York as scheduled, or if, God forbid, there were more attacks, or even worse, an actual war here."

As well as cancelling his UK dates, Tenaglia also pulled out of one of Ibiza's most popular club events of the season, the closing party of We Love Sundays At Space, run by former Home chief Darren Hughes.

"I know there are many people who have saved up to travel with us to Ibiza, especially for this closing party" said Danny '. I'm even guessing some of them may also have decided to cancel going themselves as well, or might not have been able to even get there again due to the airport dramas or other reasons, hopefully not sad ones either."

"I hope everyone understands my position and will please spread the word for me if you know of anyone in Ibiza or in the UK that may have been wondering if I was actually going to appear there or not."

He added that depending on the situation in New York he'd be opening Vinyl this Friday and inviting the listed DJs Rich Woods and Mac to play. "NYC will never be the same again. God bless America and our entire planet," he concluded.
