Danny Howells Launches Kuala Lumpur's WoWfm

Malaysian radio station WoWfm is launching their new website (www.wowfm.net <http://www.wowfm.net/> ) this weekend (July 7th) with an open air concert and free rave in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Local DJs Groovedoctor and Greg T of Liquid will be performing at the outdoor event, which takes place in Bintang Walk followed by an evening DJ set from progressive house jock Danny Howells, playing at Flux.

Skrufff's Malaysian correspondent Angie Ng, who presents a nightly dance show on the station (Monday's to Fridays between 10pm and midnight KL time, 1500 to 1700 UK time) will be broadcasting from the party from inside the station's fully transparent mobile studio, called WoW on Wheels. Kuala Lumpur, which lies directly on the flight-path from Europe to Australia has one of the fastest
growing dance scenes in the world, with virtually every name DJ flying in and out of Australia now stopping off in KL, routinely (John Digweed, Erick Morillo and Frankie Knuckles all having passed through in recent months).
