The as-yet untitled long player is set to include some massive names in the dance world and promises some very interesting results. The concept behind the album is to fuse Carl's own style with the recognised sounds of some of the world's best-known producers.

Carl has confirmed he will be collaborating with MTV Award-winner Fat Boy Slim on one track and Mercury Award-winner Roni Size on another. Plus there will be other tracks made with the likes of Erick Morillo, Josh Wink, Neneh Cherry, Christian Smith and Kevin Saunderson.

This is what Carl has to say about it:
"I'm looking forward to the reception the album receives. I was stuck between a rock and a hard place with the underground/overground thing, but then I realised that people enjoy me for being an innovator. I'm trying to find a happy medium through which I can build my reputation making music with and without people."

Carl is also giving punters the chance to suggest a title for the album - just email him at CarlCox@TrusttheDJ.com
